The 2011 Suzuki RM-Z450 has arrived

More of the same for the fuel injected motocrosser, which received a big overhaul for the 2010 model year

The 2011 model RM-Z450 is now available in Australia and "ready to race right out of the crate" according to Suzuki.

There's nothing new on the 2011 bike, but that's probably because the current model came out with a host of major updates, including a new cylinder head, piston, crankshaft, throttle body, camshafts, valve springs and radiator.

And those were allied with a new, more rigid, twin-spar aluminium frame, as well as a new subframe, linkage and rear swingarm tracking on fully adjustable Showa suspension with revised spring and damping settings.

Competitors who compete on the RM-Z in motocross and/or supercross are also eligible to register for Suzuki's Support Rider program, offering contingency payments on selected national and state race series.

The 2011 RM-Z450 costs $11,590, available in Suzuki's traditional champion yellow/black livery.
