Queensland sellers warned to beware bike-riding thief, who has struck a number of times over the last few months
Five motorcycles have been stolen in Queensland during the past 11 weeks by a thief posing as interested buyer.
Like all potential buyers of vehicles, the wanted caucasian man believed to be in his early 30s asks to take the bike for a test ride though unlike most, he fails to return.
In four of the five instances, the bike was stolen from a private seller posting their vehicle online, though the last reported theft occurred during a routine test ride at a Kunda Park dealership.
Though unconfirmed, Police believe the same man is responsible for all five instances which have occurred in Pacific Pines, Sunnybank Hills, Woolloongabba, Salisbury and Kunda Park since 18 December last year.
The perpetrator is described as being 185cm tall with a solid build, short brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of a fish on his right arm and a wizard on his left leg.
