Now here's a little mud-plugger that looks like a whole lot of fun: the Russian-built Taurus 2x2.
Powered by a 210cc four-stroke Honda engine, the Taurus 2x2 only pumps out 7hp but, judging by the video on the manufacturer's website, it sure makes the most of them.
It weighs 93kg dry and it can hit 35km/h, but with those massive balloon tyres and drive fed to both ends, it really comes into its own in deep mud or snow, or when tackling obstacles likes rocks and logs.
Best of all, this is a 'folding' motorcycle that can be disassembled and stowed in your car's boot in just five minutes – making it perfect for anyone who loves hunting, fishing, or just travelling to some otherwise hard-to-access countryside.
Built at a dedicated facility in Kaluga, south of Moscow, the company behind the Taurus 2x2 says it's presently only building it for Russian customers, but that it hopes to begin exporting models to selected markets within the next six months.
So what do you think? Could the Taurus 2x2 find a home in our Aussie bush?
