Fans of retro-style motorcycles are spoilt for choice these days, and now they have one more model to consider: SYM's Silver Vase.
Sitting alongside the Gran Turismo and Gran Milano in the Italian manufacturer's classic bike range, the Silver Vase harks back to the scramblers of old with its spoked wheels, high-set twin pipes, fork gators and tubular-steel sissy bar.
Sharing many characteristics with its Gran Turismo sibling, the Silver Vase is available in a Matte Graphite colour scheme.
Built in the former Husqvarna factory in northern Italy, the Silver Vase is powered by a 445cc, air/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 22kW, with the power fed to the ground via a five-speed transmission.
With an 820mm seat height and a dry weight of just 151kg, SWM says the model is an ideal proposition for the entry-level LAMS market.
"The introduction of the classic range from SWM has been well received here," said SWM Australia's Stephen Tuff.
"In a very short space of time the Gran Turismo and Gran Milano have sold in very encouraging numbers and it's easy to see why. Now the Silver Vase completes the classic trio selection."
The SWM Silver Vase has a recommended retail price of $7490 ride away. For more information see your nearest SWM dealership or visit www.swmmotorcycles.com.au.
