Between now and the end of December, Italian dirt bike brand SWM will throw in an Enduro Kit with with every RS 300R and RS 500R off-road bike sold.
The kit includes an Arrow exhaust which reduces the standard bike’s twin exhaust system down to a lighter single-outlet system, as well as new-look tank and radiator shrouds which boast different graphics.
The pipe alone will represent a saving of $899 and while the firm hasn’t put a value on the bodywork, it’s expected the Enduro Kit’s value would exceed $1000.
SWM has been available in Australia since the beginning of the year and the two bikes are based on Husqvarna’s 2010 TE 310 and TE 510 enduro models. The 300 holds a recommended retail price of $8290 plus on-road costs, while the 500cc version will set you back $700 more at $8990 plus on-road costs.
Originally active in the 1970 and 1980s, the SWM name has now been resurrected for a company based in the old Husqvarna factory in Italy and backed by major Chinese motorcycle brand, Shineray.
