Suzuki's road-legal trailie looming

Suzuki's 2017 DR200S hits dealers in April and comes with ADR approval

Suzuki Australia has announced that the 2017 model year iteration of its entry-level off-roader, the DR200S, has gained ADR approval and will go on sale in coming weeks.

Suzuki says the road-legal dirt bike is the perfect entry-level off-roader, while also serving as a faithful workhorse for those on the land.

Powered by a 199cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke engine, Suzuki says the DR200S achieves superb fuel economy of up to 2.2L/100km. The bike offers 205mm of wheel travel front and rear and the rear monoshock is adjustable for preload.

The model also features electric start, while the low seat height of 845mm will be manageable for most.

The new 2017 Suzuki DR200S is priced at $6190 ride away and comes in Champion Yellow No. 2 or Solid Black colour schemes. It's covered by a 12-month, unlimited-kilometre warranty.
