Effective immediately, Suzuki has dropped the price on its V-Strom 1000 by $1000, with the big multi-purpose adventure V-twin now retailing for $12,590.
We have trawled through the Bikesales Network, and that price is nearly $3000 cheaper than when the 996cc, liquid-cooled, 90-degree V-twin first went on sale in Australia in 2002 at $15,390. Bargain!
And until the end of July, the V-Strom 1000 also comes with free on-road costs, which includes 12 months registration, compulsory third party insurance, government stamp duty, dealer pre-delivery and freight charges.
