Suzuki's massive centenary sale

Across the entire range

Suzuki is turning 100 in 2009, and to celebrate the company will be holding a massive six-day motorcycle sale from June 22-27.

There will be deals across the entire range of streetbikes, cruisers, off-roaders, funbikes and quads.

"The Suzuki 6 Day Motorcycle Sale will be the biggest sales event in our history," Perry Morison, General Manager Motorcycles, Suzuki Australia, said. "Turning 100 is a major milestone; we wanted to include local motorcyclists in the centenary worldwide celebrations.

"For six days, participating dealers across Australia will be offering great deals and value-added bonuses on the full Suzuki range."

A chap by the name of Michio Suzuki founded Suzuki in 1909, specialising in the production of weaving looms for Japan's massive silk industry.

It wasn't until the 1930s that diversification occurred and cars came into the picture, followed by motorcycles in 1952.

But that hasn't stopped the auto arm of Suzuki getting in on the centenary celebration - a 57-year motorcycle celebration isn't quite as spell bounding - and, ass well as saving sin the six-day binge, customers can also take advantage of existing special offers on a range of new models purchased and delivered before June 30.

Suzuki's DR-Z400E, Australia's best-selling off-road machine, and the DR-Z250 will come with $400* cash back, while the DR-Z125 and DR-Z125L junior trailbikes have $200* cash back.

Suzuki is contributing towards on-road costs for the fully-faired GS500F and naked GS500 until the end of July, with $400 and $300 respectively helping get the new machines onto the streets.

Touring has never been easier, with Suzuki including a free Givi Top Case with each Bandit or GSX1400 sports bike, and free ABS through a $500 cash back offer on the naked Bandit 1250A.

Aussie farmers won't miss out either, with up to $750 cash back available with selected models from the KingQuad farm ATV range, or the Trojan farmbike.
