Suzuki is showing off two concept bikes at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show (27 October): called the Biplane and the Crosscage.
The heavily-enclosed Biplane doesn't look much like an aircraft, though the company says the rider will get the same sense of freedom as its namesake's pilot.
It's powered by a V-four petrol engine, and seems unlikely to be in danger of making it to the production line - for the time being.
Another unusual effort is the Crosscage which boasts a fairly complex-looking single-sided front end plus the company's first attempt at a hydrogen fuel cell power unit.
The latter is being developed in partnership with British firm Intelligent Energy (www.intelligent-energy.com).
