Suzuki Hayabusa: Six used bikes you can buy right now

If you’ve been drooling over the new, third-generation 2022 Suzuki Hayabusa, but its $27,690 ride away price tag is simply out of reach, there are a number of second-hand examples currently up for grabs right here on bikesales…

At the time of writing, bikesales has 22 examples of the Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa up for grabs among our thousands of classifieds listings, with models dating right back to 1999 and pricing spanning just $6500 to $18,990. Some are currently on dealership floors, some are private sales – so there’s plenty of scope to bag yourself a bargain ‘Busa.

The initial shipment of the 2022 Suzuki Hayabusa will reach Australia in July, but of those 60 bikes most are already spoken for. A second smaller shipment will get here in August.

We recently rode the new 2022 Suzuki Hayabusa both at the Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit and on the road, and found it to be a major step forward for the breed. The arrival of an inertial measurement unit brings with it all the latest safety tech, but the new Euro 5 engine has been heavily reworked – not just to meet the stricter emissions standards, but to offer more midrange, smoother and more refined output, and added durability.

Yes, it’s down a bit on peak power and torque – but with 190hp and 150Nm on tap we don’t think that’s going to be of major concern for the vast majority of prospective buyers!
