Suzuki GSX-S1000F on sale

Joins the naked GSX-S1000 in Suzuki's new line-up, available in metallic blue or metallic matte grey

The second pillar in Suzuki's all-new GSX-S1000 range, the fully faired GSX-S1000F, is now on sale locally for $15,790 plus on-road costs (ORC). The naked GSX-S1000 retails for $14,990 plus ORC.

"To successfully launch Suzuki's latest street motorcycle, a dedicated number demonstrator models have been made available to allow customers to experience the latest street sports contender from Suzuki" said National Marketing Manager, Lewis Croft "Suzuki has a philosophy of creating value that exceeds the customer's expectation and what better way to back this up is with a test ride experience."

The GSXS1000s are powered by the 2005 version of the GSX-R1000 long-stroke engine, and there is also three-way traction control, Brembo monobloc calipers with anti-lock braking, Renthal aluminium Fatbar handlebars and a full multi-function LCD instrument cluster.
Power is 143.5hp at 10,000rpm, and torque is 106Nm at 9500rpm. Weight is 209kg ready to ride with 17 litres of fuel.

The GSX-S1000F has two liveries: metallic blue and metallic matte grey.

Bikesales will be riding both the GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F at the Australian media launch on September 8-9, so standby for a full review and video.
