Suzuki giving away Yoshi pipes
Bonus with GSX-R600 and GSX-R1000 purchasesChristmas has come early for riders looking at snapping up a Suzuki sportsbike, with the Japanese company offering free Yoshimura performance mufflers with some of its GSX-R motorcycles.
The deal runs between September 21 and December 24 (2009) and adds the bonus of a Yoshi 'zorst for all brand-new GSX-R600 and GSX-R1000 models.
The Gixxers are "proven race winners around the world" says Suzuki, "including in the Australian Supersport Championship and Australian Superbike Championship with Team Joe Rocket Suzuki".
So to celebrate these racing feats - and potentially boost sales leading into summer - buyers are being enticed with a Yoshimura end can "suitable only for track use" with either 600 or litre-class Suzuki sportsbikes.
The Suzuki GSX-R600 comes with a stainless steel Yoshimura R55 unit, complete with a carbon end cap.
Suzuki GSX-R1000s get a slightly fancier full carbon Yoshimura R77 slip on exhaust, which should improve the look and the sound of the bike.
