Suzuki DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM pricing revealed

The long-awaited replacements for Suzuki's DR-Z400 models are arriving in Australia soon

Suzuki has revealed pricing for the new 2026 DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM models, as demand for the dual-sport pair rises.

The dirt-friendly Suzuki DR-Z4S will start from $14,490 ride away, while the road-focused Suzuki DR-Z4SM supermotard will start from $14,990 ride away.

According to Suzuki Australia, over 1300 registrations of interest have already been submitted for the new DR-Z4S models, forcing the brand to implement a special pre-order process.

The new Suzuki DR-Z4SM will arrive later in 2025

Orders for the new models will be prioritised by the date would-be customers registered their interest. Those who registered will be sent information on how to arrange pre-orders with their preferred dealership. The first stock is expected to arrive in December.

Both bikes replace the outgoing DR-Z400 models, which held an almost mythical place in Australian motorcycling for more than two decades thanks to their rugged performance and reliability.

The new models are powered an updated 398cc single-cylinder four-valve DOHC engine which now features ride-by-wire throttle, switchable ABS, multiple ride modes and traction control. It puts out a claimed 37.6hp (28kW) and 37Nm and is Euro 5+ compliant.
