The supplementary regulations for the 2009 Australasian Supercross Championship have been released.
Expected to be a tightly fought season, the Australasian Super X recently scored a new multi-year sponsorship deal with global energy drink company, Monster Energy, which should help pay for a few bills.
Another coup for the series was reported earlier in the year, when James 'Bubba' Stewart signalled his intention to contest the Brisbane Super X round in December, providing the series with a massive celebrity boost.
Anyways, the '09 Supercross supp regs are available from Motorcycling Australia website, so check em out if you're interested.
The Super X Series in 2009 will comprise Opens and Lites Championship classes. Furthermore there will also be a Development Series for riders aged 14-15, and these will be held at three of the seven events: the Geelong, Canberra and Sydney rounds.
