Kawasaki has stopped hinting and finally shown the production-ready Z H2 at this week's Tokyo Motor Show.
The supercharged naked bike shares its basics with the faired H2 machines, from the TFT display to the slipper clutch and quickshifter.
The headline act is of course the 999cc supercharged inline four-cylinder engine. In Z H2 guise outputs are said to be 197hp (147kW) and 137Nm.
The supercharger inlet has been revised to promote low and mid-range torque, making the Z H2 easier to ride on the roads.
Four modes are loaded into the software, covering rain, road, sport and a custom rider set-up.
A bespoke chassis was created for the Z H2 to promote mid-speed corner stability and the bike uses fully adjustable Showa BPT front forks with a Showa rear monoshock.
