
Tickets to the 2009 Australasian Supercross Championship - Super X - will go on sale on Monday, June 29.
This year's Super X will be held over seven rounds, starting at Aurora Stadium in Launceston (Vic) on October 17, and concluding at QSAC Stadium in Brisbane (Qld) on December 5.
In between, the championship will visit:
Skilled Stadium, Geelong (Vic) - October 26
Burswood Dome, Perth (WA) - October 31
Canberra Stadium (ACT) - November 7
Parramatta Stadium (NSW) - November 14
Waikato Stadium, Auckland (NZ) - November 21.
In 2009, American legend Jeremy McGrath will compete at several rounds, but Reed will again be the one to beat after a spectacular season of jousting with James Stewart in the AMA supercross title.
Survival, Triple Challenge, Quadruple Challenge, Round Robin, two 10-lap races and the traditional 20-lap race will all feature as finals formats in the Open class. The Lites class will also race several events over the new formats.
There will be live coverage on Fox Sports, and Channel Ten will run a one-hour highlights package the weekend after each round.
