Vespa Australia has announced the arrival of the new Vespa Sprint S, a sophisticated city commuter that is as stylish and smart as it is efficient and frugal.
Based on the existing Sprint 150 platform, the Vespa Sprint S benefits from the latest in technology, the new model featuring an integrated TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, full LED lighting, and an antilock braking system for its front disc brake.
But the look is also new, with the Vespa Sprint S available in either Bronze Antico with black 12-inch rims, or Nero Opaco with bronze 12-inch rims, with each featuring numerous highlights in contrasting matt and glossy finishes. The model also has new graphics and new seating, the latter with a premium diamond pleat design.

The Vespa Sprint S is powered by the brand’s 150cc iGet engine – a 154.8cc, single-cylinder, three-valve, four-stroke unit with air cooling and electronic fuel injection. Vespa claims it’s good for 12.9hp (9.5kW) at 7750rpm and 12.8Nm at 6500rpm. Seat height is a manageable-for-most 695mm, while the fuel capacity is 7lt.
The new TFT screen affords full Bluetooth connectivity and integrates with the VESPA MIA smartphone app, available on both Apple and Android platforms. Utilising a joystick on the scooter’s left-hand switchblock, the app unlocks call and text notification, vehicle status, and a wealth of trip information, among other features.
Available now, the new Vespa Sprint S is priced at $9440 ride away, while the standard Vespa Sprint is priced at $8590 ride away. Click here or see your nearest Vespa dealer for more information.
