Strong Aussie team for world junior MX title

16 riders to make the trek to NZ

Motorcycling Australia has announced the local contingent to make the trek to New Zealand for the 2009 Junior World Motocross Championship at Taupo on August 15-16. The team is as follows:


12-15 years 85cc two-stroke and 150cc four-stroke



  • Dylan Long -- Benalla, Vic

  • Jackson Richardson - Cairns, Qld

  • Jay Wilson -- Banora Point, NSW (pictured)

  • Hayden Mellross - Young, NSW

  • Luke Clout - Annangrove, NSW

  • Scott Mann - Cornubia, Qld

  • Dale Fear - Castlereagh, NSW

  • Jarred Jeffcoat - Nowra, NSW

  • Non-travelling reserve: Joel Dinsdale - Marian, Qld

  • Non-travelling reserve: Nicklas Scott - Cooran, Qld


15-18 years 125cc two-stroke and 250cc four-stroke



  • Harley Quinlan - Biloela, Qld

  • Dylan Peterson -- Tewantin, Qld

  • Luke Styke - Tomerong, NSW
