Triumph has given its Street Triple and Street Triple R models a smarten up for the 2011 model year, with a host of detail and visual changes including the adoption of the new headlight design first seen on the new Speed Triple.
The new machines will go on sale early April in Australia.
The Street Triple features three metallic paint options at no extra cost (Crystal White, Phantom Black and the new Imperial Purple), with the higher-specification 'R' is available in Diablo Red, Crystal White and Phantom Black (with gold wheels).
Both models feature the new style Triumph sports script, debuted on the new Daytona 675R, on the tank, as well as a new 'Street Triple 675' logo.
The duo has now been 'de-chromed' with brushed steel exhaust headers, heel guards and silencers replacing the previous polished items, while there are also new handlebar clamps, machined detail on the handlebar end weights, and redesigned headstock infills.
Mechanically, the Street Triples remain unchanged, with their punchy 675cc three-cylinder engines delivering 106hp at 11,700rpm, with 68Nm of torque at 9200rpm. The R features higher-spec brakes and suspension.
Both machines will go on sale early April, priced at $12,490 for the Street Triple and $13,490 for the 'R' version, inclusive of Triumph's two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
