Street Triple scores premium in UK

UK demand for Triumph's new Street Triple middleweight (reviewed last week by Bikepoint, more here) has sent the prices for low-mileage used example in the UK spiralling past the recommended retail price for a new one!

UK MCN says people are complaining that the waiting list to next July has meant owners have been asking as much as 400 quid ($950) over the new price for a low-mile and clean example.

Peter Verrinder, of aftermarket accessory company Powerbronze, said his company recently paid 150 quid over the rec retail for a used version, so their R&D department could prepare a catalogue for it.
