Street 500 on sale February 21
And Australian Harley-Davidson dealers will be holding a simultaneous 'Street Party' to celebrateHarley-Davidson Australia has confirmed the Street 500 will go on sale locally on Saturday, February 21, 2015 – one of the last markets in the world to get its hands on the first all-new platform for the American company in 14 years.
The machine is already on sale in markets such as America, Italy, Spain, Portugal and India – the latter already proving to be a prosperous country.

To celebrate and welcome the new model into the Harley-Davidson family, all of the brand’s Australian dealers are holding a special Street Party on February 21.
The free event will offer revellers the chance to experience the LAMS-approved Street 500 first-hand. In addition to test rides, a host of family-fun activities are set to take place, including the opportunity to kick through the gears of a rumbling Harley-Davidson in the H-D Jumpstart experience. There will also be kids' activities and the chance to meet and H-D ambassadors. There will also be a barbecue to feed the masses. Activities will vary from dealer to dealer.
