Strap on the thermalz

Andy Strapz - the local maker of all sorts of bike products including alternatives to ocky straps - has a range of winter thermal gear which some close riding mates of ours swear by.

According to the Strapz folk they are designed specifically for motorcyclists and the position we sit in. Cut from Aussie hollow core polyester, they wick moisture away from the skin helping to adjust comfort. Andy Strapz Thermalz work exceptionally well with modern fabrics such as Gore-Tex so you can reduce the number of layers yet stay safely warm.

The Topz are double fronted, with a shirt tail back, while having extra arm and body length. Even small but important touches like care instructions in the side seams not in the back of the neck to prevent annoying scratching. The maker says the neck folds down to T shirt length for a stylish long sleeved top. Price: $64 for XS to XXL.

Apparenlty the Pantz have calf length ankle cuffs to prevent the bunching of socks, boots and leathers. Boxer shorts are sewn in, creating a double layer and a generous fly stops the urinal dance on a cold day. Female pantz are available too. Price: $74 for S to XXL.
