Stoners welcome new baby
Casey Stoner's wife Adriana has given birth to the couple's first child -- and she'll now share a birthday with one of the Aussie's great rivalsCasey Stoner and his wife Adriana Stoner welcomed baby Alessandra into the world on February 16, according to a tweet from the official Repsol Honda twitter account.
Alessandra was born at 9:55pm at a hospital in Switzerland, weighing 2.8kg. And Casey was in town too, after recently fulfilling testing and media commitments in Malaysia and Japan.
Ironically, Alessandra will now share a birthday with Stoner’s great rival, Valentino Rossi. We reckon the Italian great would be having a giggle about that one…
Adriana and Casey married in 2007, the year that he won his maiden MotoGP title.
