Stoner declares his car racing hand

The Australian still has plenty left in the motorcycle racing tank, but he's already harbouring car racing ambitions
Australia's MotoGP world championship leader Casey Stoner visited Bathurst over the weekend and declared his interest in turning to four-wheel racing eventually.
"Racing a V8 Supercar is definitely something I'd like to do in the future," Stoner said. "There's only so many more years I can do two wheels, so I would love to set myself a new challenge and see if I can become competitive enough even to race with these boys.
"But that would be a long way away - and a lot of hard work, I think."
This week Stoner heads to Phillip Island chasing a fifth straight Australian MotoGP victory, and he may even leave with his second world championship if the cards fall his way.
Motocross star Chad Reed was another keen observer at Bathurst, fresh from spearheading Australia's first ever podium in the Motocross of Nations.
