New South Wales rugby league stars will ride Harley-Davidsons through 20 of the state’s towns to raise funds and awareness for Father Riley’s Youth Off The Streets program. As part of the 2016 Hogs For The Homeless Tour, Brad Fittler, Nathan Hindmarsh, Matt Cooper and Steve Menzies are expecting to ride 3500km over the three-week tour which will kick off with the first leg from Alexandria in Sydney to Oberon on Monday 15 February. Hosting footy clinics for school kids on their way around, the riders will be joined on tour by Ian Schubert, Josh Perry, Jack Elsegood, Steve Roach, and Jarrod McCracken, as well as musician Phil Jameson and V8 Supercar driver David Reynolds. Now in its fourth year, Hogs For The Homeless has raised almost $300,000 for the cause and Harley-Davidson Australia has once again thrown its support behind the 2016 charity event by donating a Hard Candy Custom Forty Eight as the raffle prize. "Through involvement we've been able to help spread the word and bring the troubling issue of youth homelessness in our community to light with the help of our national dealer network and some of rugby league's biggest names," Harley-Davidson’s marketing director Adam Wright said. "That in itself has been a great reward for our team and the dealers involved." You can meet the stars at a barbecue hosted by Central Coast Harley-Davidson on Saturday, February 27 and witness the lap of honour at Brookvale Oval on Friday, March 4 to mark the tour’s completion.
