Stark Future is developing an electric adventure motorcycle that it claims will “change the perspective of road motorcycles forever”.
Named the ÄLG (Swedish for elk), the new adventure model will compete in the 800cc segment. According to Stark, it will deliver “50 per cent more power”, “lower weight”, and a charging time “quicker than you can drink a cup of coffee”.
“We think this will become the best-selling adventure bike in the world,” Stark CEO Anton Wass said in an official company video.
The video, published on Stark Future’s YouTube channel, outlines the brand’s “roadmap” for upcoming products.
Stark investor Royal Enfield is developing an electric Himalayan adventure bike powered by Stark motors, although it is unclear whether the two projects are directly linked.
Alongside the ÄLG, Stark is working on a street bike using the same platform. Called the LO (Swedish for lynx), it will feature similar specifications and promises “more range than you have energy to ride”.
The company is also planning an affordable electric motorcycle for the Asian market, which it hopes will become the biggest-selling platform worldwide. With the working title Gimli, the model will target the 100–500cc segment.
Other models teased in the video include ultra-light adventure and street models, a “freeride” bike that will be “miles away from anything we can see in the market today”, and an electric ATV that can “power your tools”.
Founded in 2019, Stark Future has already launched its VARG MX and VARG EX electric dirt bikes to strong success. The company claims it is the “fastest growing Spanish company in history” and says it is “growing faster than Tesla”.
The next confirmed Stark product will be a supermoto version of the VARG platform.
