Staring returns to FIM Superstock World Cup

Back in the category where he was a potent force in 2011 and 2012, and reunited with Kawasaki as well
Australia’s Bryan Staring has rejoined Team Pedercini to compete in the 2015 FIM Superstock World Cup, riding a Kawasaki ZX-10R.
Staring is no stranger to the Kawasaki family, having ridden the latter part of 2014 in world superbike for the Grillini team, and with Pedercini in the superstock 1000 division during the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Staring scored three race wins on the Ninja ZX-10R on the way to fourth overall in the 2012 superstock campaign, after which he left to compete in MotoGP.
Staring, 27, is eligible for superstock racing once more because of a change in the regulations, allowing riders up to 28 years of age to participate in the 2015 season.
Bryan Staring said: “Signing for Kawasaki and Pedercini to race in superstock again has been like a breath of fresh air. I feel like I have a fighting chance. I am thanking my lucky stars that I could turn back to superstock because all I want to do is be competitive in some form of world championship racing.
"This is by far the best opportunity I could have had in the WSB paddock. I could not be happier than to come back to Superstock with Kawasaki as I feel we have such a good relationship. This year we have a pretty big goal to reach and I think it is quite achievable because we have all the right tools. Winning the championship is the goal, as it should be every year, and I think we should be in a position to do that this year.”
Superstock 1000 FIM Cup races will feature at eight rounds during the world superbike season, with Staring and his teammate Romain Lanusse’s first race weekend taking place at Motorland Aragon from April 10-12.
