Spies for satellite Ducati in 2013

The American, who relinquished his spot on Yamaha's factory MotoGP team, will now ride a satellite Ducati to continue his MotoGP career
Ben Spies will continue to be a MotoGP rider in 2013 after all, with the Texan set to join Moto2 graduate Andrea Iannone in the Pramac Racing Ducati satellite team.
Ducati’s factory riders in 2013 will be Nicky Hayden and Andrea Dovizioso, while Spies and Iannone “will be supplied with official equipment”.
Strong rumours had Spies returning to the World Superbike title in 2013 on a BMW, but the roster on that factory team has now been completed by Welshman Chaz Davies.
Meanwhile, the 2012 MotoGP title continues at Misano this weekend. Click here for the full preview.
