Café racer styling, a learner-friendly package and a starting price of $6999 plus on-road costs marks the launch of the third model from Sol Invictus.

The Apollo café racer uses an air-cooled 400cc single-cylinder engine good for 20kW/30Nm. It is the first machine from Sol Invictus to boast both electronic fuel injection and anti-lock brakes on the front and rear wheels.
Other standard gear includes clip-on handlebars and alloy wheels and a two-year warranty. Colour options are limited to silver and grey. The release says the Apollo combines “uncompromising café racer styling and unbeatable value for money.

The Apollo joins the $3999 Mercury 250 and $5999 Nemesis 400 in the Sol Invictus range.
Since its launch in 2013 Sol Invictus has focused on LAMS-compliant motorbikes that were developed to be customised by their owners. A video of an Apollo being customised in collaboration with liqueur brand Jagermeister has already racked up six-figure views.
