Following on from word of the all-new Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello, Moto Guzzi has also announced details of a looming new V7 variant.
The 2023 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Special Edition moves away from the matte paint schemes typical of the V7 family’s Stone variants and adopts a ‘Shining Black’ livery with red accents, along with a variety of other premium cosmetic enhancements and a mild performance hike courtesy of its new Arrow exhaust system.
Unveiled at the recent Moto Guzzi World Days event in Mandello del Lario, Italy, to help mark the historic brand’s 100th anniversary, the 2023 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Special Edition arrives just two years after the retro roadster’s last major update and is set to arrive in Australian dealerships in spring of next year.
The Shining Black livery is highlighted by numerous red details, including the shock springs, contrast stitching on the seat, and graphics.

A plate on the bike’s handlebar riser denotes the model’s Special Edition status, while other notable differences include the ’bar-end mirrors and the black anodised billet aluminium fuel cap. Adding a further touch of class are the cylinder head covers of the transverse 853cc V-twin, now finished in a new Graphite colour, while the throttle body protectors are done in black anodised aluminium.
Capping off the model is a new Arrow exhaust system said to lift peak claimed power from 65.3hp to 66.6hp at 6700rpm and peak torque from 73Nm to 75Nm at 4900rpm. The pipe will be offered as an accessory across the V7 range.
Pricing for the new 2023 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Special Edition will be announced closer to its local release, but for reference the current 2022 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone is priced at $18,630 ride away. See your nearest Moto Guzzi dealer for more information.
