Have you ever wondered what a Bugatti sports bike would look like? Or an Aston Martin café racer? How about a Bentley touring bike? Of course, the likes of BMW, Honda, and Suzuki are reputable for manufacturing both cars and bikes, but most four-wheel manufacturers leave the two-wheel caper to the experts.
Still, we can’t help but fantasise, and it seems Budget Direct can’t either. The insurance firm has created six renders showing what it would look like if iconic car makers produced motorcycles.

We're impressed with the examples they've come up with, but we'd also like to see a Toyota adventure bike, a Ford muscle cruiser, and a Lamborghini hyper naked. Actually, the latter is already somewhat of a reality, with Lamborghini recently teaming up with Ducati for a special-edition Diavel 1260.
Here are six brands that would make amazing motorcycles:
Founded in 1913, Aston Martin is famous for its luxury sports cars and grand tourers. The British manufacturer has a long association with James Bond, and is also a powerhouse in Formula 1. This Aston Martin café racer would fit in well with the brand's British heritage thanks to a nice dash of vintage Bond style. We’ll take it shaken, not stirred.
Interestingly, Aston Martin has already dipped its toe in the two-wheel world, with its AMB 001, made in collaboration with iconic motorcycle brand Brough Superior. Let’s not mention the $176,000 price tag.
Another British icon, Bentley has a long and storied history. Today the brand is known for building luxury cars and SUV’s. There are plenty of big and luxurious touring motorcycles out there, but few carry the prestige and status of Bentley. So, what if Bentley made its own touring bike? Well, it would look something like this.
Luxury and high-performance are par for the course with this historic French brand, but it all comes at an eye-watering cost. The entry-level Bugatti Chiron checks in at over $3million AUD, while the Bugatti La Voiture Noire (the inspiration for this render) will set you back a cool $20million AUD. While we love the look of the Bugatti superbike, we’d hate to think what it would cost.
More in the ballpark for the average human, this Mitsubishi scooter screams practicality. The Japanese are all about minimal fuss and maximum efficiency, and while Mitsubishi is no stranger to high-performance, this Mirage-based scooter is all about getting from point A to point B without burning too much fuel. It’s a delivery riders dream.
You might have heard Rivian mentioned in the recent Long Way Up series starring Charley Boorman and Ewan McGregor. The boys secured two electric Rivian utes to act as support vehicles on their journey through South America.
The Michigan-based Rivian is riding the electric revolution, but unlike its competitors, it has focused more on rugged off-road SUV’s and utes. This electric dirt bike looks a little other-worldly, but it has Rivian’s forward-thinking nature written all over it.
Founded in 2003, Tesla has grown to become a world leader in the world of electric mobility. Already armed with a range of hugely popular electric luxury vehicles, the California-based company continues to break new ground.
This electric sportsbike would not necessarily be new ground, but we’re sure that Tesla would find some way to elevate it above the pack. Of course, we use the word ‘elevate’ figuratively but eccentric CEO Elon Musk would probably find a way to make it literal.
