South Australian wunderkind Arthur Sissis demolished the field to retain his Australian Under 16 Speedway Championship at Undera Park, near Shepparton (Vic), last weekend.
Replicating Leigh Adams in the recently concluded open title, Sissis went through the meeting unbeaten, completing his dominant campaign with victory in the A-final ahead of Nick Morris, Manson Campton and Dane Cartwright.
Sissis also powered to a clean sweep in the 2008 title, which equates to victories in 12 successive races.
Since the title's inception in 1982, only one other rider has retained the No. 1 plate - Jason Hawkes in 1988 when he defeated Jason Crump in a run-off.
At Undera, Sissis also combined with fellow South Aussie Robert Medson to win the teams' title from Queensland (Morris and Clinton Dennis) and New South Wales (Campton and Brady Kurtz).

The prodigiously gifted Sissis -- he's a dab hand at most motorcycle racing disciplines -- will now leave the speedway arena for a while when he competes in the 2009 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, which wil be held as a support event at selected MotoGP rounds.
Sissis will be joined by countryman Dylan Mavin in the 23-rider field.
