This is the Harley-Davidson for people who don’t like Harley-Davidsons. Sporting a somewhat sinister look thanks to smooth custom-made fuel tank and red-rimmed wheels, 56-year-old creator Richard Krall is no doubt very pleased with his creation.
Starting life as a 2007 Harley-Davidson FXSTB Softail Night Train, the finished product has a far more modern image, thanks to a few clever tweaks such as the V-Rod front fender and headlight cowling.
Other changes to the front end include the forks, which have been swapped out for a more modern Suzuki setup, while the front wheel is from a Harley Fat Bob, a slotted aluminium number.
The wheels have also been powdercoated and finished with a red pinstripe.
Krall crafted the fuel tank in-house and also the seat frame, and there's a chopped rear fender that tidies up the rear end nicely.
While the 1570cc V-twin engine is relatively untouched, this custom job does feature a set of two-into-one D&D performance pipes and a Screamin' Eagle Heavy Breather air intake, which probably doesn't hurt acoustics.
