Sinclair makes FMX return at MCG

Performs in front of home crowd

Cam Sinclair has made a successful return to the freestyle motocross (FMX) arena with a performance at the famed Melbourne Cricket Ground during an AFL match.

Sinclair performed as part of the Melbourne Football Club's Youth Week campaign, where this year's theme was 'Dare to Dream.' Since suffering life threatening injuries last July, it were only fitting that this became the stage for Sinclair to officially live his dream to perform again in front of his home crowd in Melbourne.

Sinclair performed during the round one game between Hawthorn and Melbourne, with over 50,000 spectators in attendance.

"It was so great to get out there again and ride in front of a crowd. I've been training on my set-up at home, but there's nothing like hearing the crowd cheer for you -- that's something I missed the most since my accident in Madrid," Sinclair said.

"I'm still amazed they allowed us to ride today. I was so careful not to damage the grass and everything worked out perfectly. I'd really like to thank everyone involved, especially Jim Stynes from the Melbourne Football Club for helping make this happen."

Sinclair will make his competition return at round one of the Red Bull X-Fighters in Mexico City on April 17.
