Cam Sinclair has become the first Aussie to land a perfect double back flip ramp to ramp, completing the feat in New Zealand last Saturday night.
The 24-year-old from Melbourne is now one of only three riders to perform the trick, which he did with a 55-foot jump - the longest ever.
"It feels so amazing to finally get that first one away and I am so glad I got to do it on tour with all of my riding buddies," said Sinclair. "It felt so good when they all ran up to congratulate me.
"The crowd was amazing and pumped me up so much before it, strangely I wasn't nervous before it. I just wanted to get it done, I did and I am so stoked. I can't wait to perform it in Australia in front of a home crowd."
Sinclair first did a double back flip in Spain last November, followed by another go on Sydney Harbor, but never ramp to ramp because that required yet another level of skill and daring.
Sinclair will keep performing the jump on the current Crusty Demons program in New Zealand, before bringing it to Australia in May and June art of the Beyond the Apocalypse tour.
