Sinclair back riding after horrific fall

Returning to the freestyle motocross circuit

Australian freestyle motocross rider Cam Sinclair, who nearly lost his life in a sickening crash in Madrid seven months ago, is now preparing for a return to competition.

Sinclair under rotated a double backflip in Spain last July (see below), and since has been on an intensive training regime to rebuild his strength in preparation for a comeback.

"The accident in Madrid has only made me stronger and more determined to achieve my goals; I actually feel like my tricks are bigger and better than they were before the crash," Sinclair said. "I have no doubt that I can land the double backflip again. I have watched the footage from Madrid (Spain) over and over again.

"I know what went wrong. I just can't wait to start working on them again in the foam pit and take it to dirt soon; it's just something I have to do."

Sinclair's schedule for 2010 includes performing in the Crusty Demons 'Beyond the Apocalypse' regional tour, and also the all-new Nitro Circus Live show.

He also plans to compete in selected rounds of the Red Bull X Fighters and achieve his life-long dream of an X Games gold medal in August.
