Motorclassica, Australia’s premier exhibition of rare and exotic, historic, vintage, veteran, classic and collectable cars and motorcycles, has announced a new feature.
‘Park & Sell’ will be introduced for the first time at this year’s event, which will be staged again at the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne, on October 23-25
Owners of collectable cars and motorcycles keen to attract buyer interest will be able to access an exclusive, secure area adjacent to the 19th century main hall, where their vehicles will be displayed for sale.
Motorclassica Park & Sell will be restricted to just 100 vehicles and will only operate on the opening day of the event, Friday October 23.
“Park & Sell has been introduced in response to demand from our constituents and from visitor research,” Motorclassica Event Director Paul Mathers said.
“Ever since we started Motorclassica six years ago we’ve had lots of enquiry from owners about a facility to showcase a car or motorcycle they’d like to sell, so we think the time is right to create that.
“We’re excited by this new aspect of our event… for sellers there is not going to be a more concentrated and engaged group of prospective buyers than those that attend Motorclassica.”
Park & Sell will be open to vehicles appropriate to the event and enable owners to display their machines to around 4000 show visitors on the Friday, in an exclusive area, and deal direct with potential purchasers.
Motorclassica Park & Sell costs $200 (+ GST) per vehicle, which includes two tickets to the event. For information on Park & Sell contact Ben Morrison on (03) 9321 6753 or bmorrison@etf.com.au
