Second Melbourne show for Crusty

To be held on Friday, October 29 at Rod Laver Arena, complete with cutting-edge pyrotechnics and 200 square metre video screen

The upcoming Crusty Demons Thirst 4 Destruction Tour has now added a second Melbourne show at Rod Laver Arena, which will be held on Friday, October 29.

The tour, sponsored by the Bikesales Network, kicks off in Perth on October 16, with confirmed participants including Australia’s very own megastar Robbie Maddison; Mike Metzger; Australia’s first female FMX rider Emma McFerran; six-year old Jasyn Roney; and legendary ringmaster and crash test dummy Bubba.

“I’ve been doing the Crusty tour since the beginning and I am absolutely blown away by the new show plan,” Bubba said. “A brand spanking new show that is jam-packed full of the biggest stunts and craziest mayhem I’ve ever seen.

“The amount of rider talent we have lined up will be a world first. Not to mention the best live show producers in the world to kick it a couple of notches higher than we have ever been.

“It is safe to say that the Crusty Demons fans are in for one hell of a show. We are back in a big way.”

Around 1000 tonnes of dirt will be trucked in to form an interactive arena which will also feature two giant gangways allowing for cross-over trick-runs, the longest jumps ever seen in Australian arenas, and a ceiling drop-in by Maddison.

Cutting-edge pyrotechnics will fire around 2000 shots from over 20 positions around the arena, while the massive 200 square metre video screen will beam animated graphics, more Crusty chronicles and live FMX action.
