Safety recall: Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special

The ACCC has issued a product safety recall affecting 2012 and certain 2013 model-year Harley VRSCDX Night Rod Specials

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) has issued a product safety recall for Harley-Davidson’s VRSCDX Night Rod Special, with 2012 and certain 2013 model-year examples affected.

According to the ACCC, “The license plate bracket assembly may become loose from the rear fender. If this occurs, the license plate may come in contact with the rear tyre and damage the rear brake line.”

Affected owners should contact their nearest Harley-Davidson dealership to have the fault rectified.
