Rutledge retains MX title

Consecutive Australian Women's Motocross Championships for the gifted teenager, who continues to dominate local competition
Kawasaki’s Meghan Rutledge has won the 2012 Australian Women’s Motocross Championship, held in Albury (NSW) on October 21.
The 17-year old from Picton (NSW) won all five of her races on the KX250F to finish ahead of Tricker MacKenzie and local rider Kristy Gillespie.
“I had an all-round awesome weekend and it all went according to plan,” said Meghan.
It’s great to win the title for the second year in a row. Thanks to everybody who supports me, especially my mum and dad. This year has been such a great one for me. I hope I can get a top 10 finish in the Australian Supercross Championship and finish the year on a strong note.”
