Roland Sands Design KTM café racer

American motorcycle tuner RSD is working on a new café racer concept that will make your eyes pop

Whether it's a heavily customised Harley-Davidson or a modified Ducati, Roland Sands Design (RSD) is doing some very impressive things at the moment.

Café racers appear to be the custom du jour at the moment with many tuners, and RSD is currently cranking out some incredibly attractive designs, including this latest one, based on the KTM 530EXC of all things.

RSD has pared down the KTM dualsport dirt bike, keeping the tank (albeit with a new tank cover) and adding clip-ons, a new seat and various other components.

The bodywork will be all new and there could also be a few powertrain tweaks to give the bike a bit more shove.

The heavily modified KTM café racer is still in the development stage so details are still a bit thin, and the first image in the gallery is a CGI rendering of what the finished product will look like.

Nevertheless, the latest RSD creation looks like another knockout design, and we're just wondering how we can get one of these Californian creations into Australia...

Check out the embedded video below for a behind-the-scenes look at the café racer's development.
