Riders lead blood challenge

Vic race is tight

Victoria’s annual blood challenge, held to top up the supplies of the Red Cross Blood Bank, is a tight race this year.

We’re told motorcyclists are leading, but only just, ahead of firefighters, scouts, The Child Support Agency and police.

Riders last won the challenge in 1987, but have come close several times since. At the moment, the leading groups are the MRA and Ulysses Club.

There are still several weeks to go, so feel free to call 13 14 95 for more info. You can nominate your donation to any group you prefer, without being a member.
