Motorcycling Australia has released updated calendars for the 2009 Australian Motocross and Superbike Championships. They are now as follows:
Australian Motocross Championship
Rd 1: April 5, Wodonga, Vic
Rd 2: April 18-19, Canberra, ACT
Rd 3: May 17, Toowoomba, Qld
Rd 4: May 24, Mackay, Qld
Rd 5: June 14, Murray Bridge, SA
Rd 6: June 21, Wanneroo, WA
Rd 7: July 26, Lakes, NSW
Rd 8: August 1-2, Coolum, Qld
Australian Superbike Championship
Rd 1: February 27-March 1, Phillip Island, Vic (during WSBK round)
Rd 2: April 4-5, Symmons Plains, Tas
Rd 3: June 5-7, Queensland Raceway, Qld
Rd 4: August 7-9, Eastern Creek, NSW
Rd 5: August 29-30, Mallala, SA
Rd 6: October 15-18, Phillip Island, Vic (during MotoGP round)
Rd 7: November 13-15, Calder Park, Vic
Both championships have been trimmed from their original 10 rounds. In the Superbike title, a stand alone round at Phillip Island has been scrapped, and Winton has also been removed from the calendar.
