Refreshed 2022 Royal Enfield Himalayan arriving soon

The popular Royal Enfield Himalayan adventure tourer has received a light update for 2022, with new tech, new colours and Euro5 compliance.

While the 411cc single-cylinder machine remains largely unchanged, it does now meet Euro5 emissions standards and adds a couple of cool new features.

Headlining the list of changes is the addition of the company’s Tripper navigation module, which debuted on the 2021 Royal Enfield Meteor 350. Coupled with a smartphone, the bar-mounted Tripper module displays turn-by-turn navigation courtesy of Google Maps.

The 2022 Royal Enfield Himalayan also gets some minor functional updates including improved seat comfort, a new windscreen, tank protection bars and an upgraded carry rack. It also comes with switchable ABS as standard.

There is also three new colour schemes (in addition to the current options), including Mirage Silver, Pine Green, and New Granite Black, as well as a wide range of accessories are available for customers.

Australian pricing for the new 2022 Royal Enfield Himalayan will start at $8190 ride away and it now comes with comes with a 3-year warranty and roadside assist.

With much success since its debut in 2016, the Royal Enfield Himalayan has given motorcyclists an affordable and user-friendly dual sport option. The British-born/Indian-owned company hopes to expand its adventure portfolio in the near future, with the updated Himalayan providing a springboard.

The new 2022 Royal Enfield Himalayan will be in Australian dealerships from late September, and New Zealand dealerships from October.
