Inspired by MotoGP, the new KTM RC has been updated for 2022 and is expected to arrive in Australia and New Zealand in March 2022.
The popular LAMS-approved supersport model has undergone a refresh with completely-redesigned Grand Prix styling that includes new body work and new colour schemes.
As a result of the redesign, the 2022 KTM RC 390 is now physically bigger, which increases its visual presence and also helps optimize aerodynamics at higher speeds. There is also better wind and weather protection, as well as enhanced heat management that directs airflow away from the rider.

There is also redesigned rear body work, improved ergonomics, a new two-part cockpit and windscreen holder, and a larger fuel tank.
KTM has implemented an all-new wheel design that accounts for a 3.4kg unsprung weight saving, while the ByBre braking system saves 960 grams and the frame saves 1.5kg.
The suspension has been refreshed too, with the WP APEX gear offering plenty of adjustment.
In the engine department, KTM has now met Euro5 compliance, with the liquid-cooled, single cylinder four-stroke engine offering more torque and rideability thanks to a new airbox design and new engine mapping.
The new RC 390 also features a comprehensive electronics package, including Supermoto ABS, lean-angle cornering ABS, cornering traction control, and an optional quickshifter. There is also a new customisable TFT colour display.
Pricing is yet to be announced, but the 2022 KTM RC 390 is expected to arrive locally in March 2022.
