Australia's Chad Reed has led an antipodean-flavoured top 10 in round three of the AMA Motocross Championship, powering to fifth and second place finishes in the searing Texas heat.
Reed was also joined in the top 10 in both races by fellow Suzuki rider Michael Byrne (8-7), while Dan Reardon (Honda) was an excellent fourth in race two after being 12th in the opener.
New Zealander Cody Cooper (Yamaha) was also prominent with 6-13 results, while Jake Moss (Honda) was eighth in race two.
Both races were won by Reed's teammate Mike Alessi, who leads the championship.
Despite still not feeling 100 percent in AMA motocross after a two-year exile, Reed feels everything is slowly coming together.
"We're ticking the boxes and making some good improvements to the bike over a very short period of time," said Reed. "The heat was intense this weekend; it certainly made things tough. I was happy with how I rode, and to take another third place is good.
"I'm still not feeling 100 percent on race day, which is frustrating because I can go through the week and into practice feeling great.
"There are a lot of guys around me riding very hard, and it's difficult to beat them when you're not feeling your best. If I can get on top of this I think there's a lot more to come this season."
The next round of the AMA Motocross Championship will be held at High Point Raceway, Mount Morris, on June 13.
Australia's Brett Metcalfe (Honda) is fifth overall in the 250cc class after 4-7 finishes in Texas.
