The 2023 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and GSX-R1000R are now available in Australian dealerships, with the Japanese firm offering reduced pricing for a limited time.
While the popular sportsbikes remain almost completely unchanged for 2023, customers can pick up the latest models for a reduced cost at participating dealerships while stocks last.
Suzuki lists the 2023 GSX-R1000 for $24,990 ride away, but the limited-time offer means it is currently available for $23,490 ride away. Likewise, the 2023 GSX-R1000R is usually listed at $27,990 ride away, but can currently be grabbed for just $26,490 ride away.
Powered by the latest-generation 999.3cc in-line four-cylinder DOHC liquid-cooled engine, the GSX-R1000 siblings take inspiration from Suzuki’s outgoing MotoGP program. The engine puts out 148.6kW (202ps) at 13,200rpm and 117.6Nm of torque at 10,800rpm.
The engine also features advanced technology like variable valve timing, a finger-follower valve train, top feed injectors, and exhaust tuning butterfly valves.
Elsewhere, the GSX-Rs also include a six-axis inertial measurement unit, ABS, Motion Track Brake System, 10-level traction control, and three ride modes. There is also a twin-spar aluminium perimeter frame and radial-mount Brembo monobloc calipers.
The top-spec GSX-R1000R adds launch control, an auto-blipper, an adjustable swingarm pivot point, braided steel front brake lines, LED position lights, a lightweight battery, and a black LCD display. It also includes a fully adjustable Showa BFF fork and Showa BFRC shock absorber.
Both machines come with 12 months' registration and are backed by Suzuki’s three-year unlimited-kilometre warranty.
