Record year for Honda
Honda Japan reports that it has just signed off on a record financial year for income, at $114 billion, though its motorcycle sales were down slightly (2%) to 10.271 million units.The company is predicting that 2007 will be another record year for revenue, and motorcycle sales should reach 10.86 million.
Those figures to do not include bikes made by overseas affiliates with no direct parts input from Honda Japan. A further 2.6 million were made by those companies in 2005-2006, which is expected to rise to 3.36 million in the coming year.
