Australian Garry McCoy will extend his partnership with Triumph into 2010 as he embarks on yet Supersport World Championship campaign.
After delivering several podium finishes in 2009, McCoy, the former 500 GP and world superbike winner, will again compete under the Italian-based BE1 umbrella, with his team-mate to be Briton Chaz Davies.
The duo will ride the Daytona 675, which is unchanged for the 2010 model year.
McCoy also has an expanded brief in 2010, as he's also an ambassador for the inaugural Triumph ParkinGO European Series, where 24 riders from across Europe will battle it out on identically-prepared Street Triple Rs.
The title will be held alongside seven rounds of the world superbike and supersport titles, with the winner earning the right to compete at the final round of the Supersport World Championship on an official BE1 Racing Triumph Daytona 675. BE1 will co-ordinate the ParkinGO series.
The 2010 Superbike and Supersport World Championship will start at Phillip Island from February 26-28, and end in France on October 3.
McCoy will be the lone Aussie hand in supersport this year, while in superbike four local riders will shoot for world championship honours: Troy Corser, Chris Vermeulen, Broc Parkes and Andrew Pitt.

Meanwhile, in more world superbike news, BMW's factory team, which fields Corser and Spaniard Ruben Xaus, has announced former Ducati head honcho David Tardozzi will be its new team manager.
In turn, Ernesto Marinelli will fill the void left by Tardozzi at Ducati.
