RACING: Fifth A4DE victory for Milner

The Victorian was superb on his KTM 500 EXC-F

KTM’s factory rider Daniel Milner has clinched his fifth Australian Four-Day Enduro (A4DE) title, with his latest success coming at Cessnock (NSW) from April 4-7.

Milner claimed the outtight victory aherad of Husqvarna rider Daniel Sanders by just over one minute, with Josh Green (Yamaha) third ahead of Luke Styke (Yamaha) and Lachlan Stanford (Husvarna).

Milner dominated the event, leading from the get-go on his four-stroke 500 EXC-F.

"I’m pretty stoked, that’s for sure. The last A4DE I did, didn’t go as well to plan, so to be able to rack up my fifth A4DE win out here in Cessnock is a pretty big deal for me because it’s the 40th anniversary and there are a lot of legends here,” said Milner.

“It’s also my first A4DE win on a KTM. It was definitely difficult out there, it was probably one of the most difficult A4DEs I’ve done in years. For what we were riding, my 500 EX was handling unreal – the bike and I gelled really good."

Milner also won the big-bore E3 division, while the other category winners were Styke (E1), Sanders (E2), Jess Gardiner (Women’s), Ben Grabham (Veterans) and Brad Williscroft (Masters).
